Known for their legendary warehouse parties, Blkmarket Membership will be hosting what is sure to be another epic night with a line-up of all German DJs. Markus Fix, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves, Three and DJ Koze will spin alongside residents Taimur Agha, Fahad Haider and Memo. This marks the US Debut of DJ Koze, who will be spinning a five-hour set. The Word, a supergroup comprised of John Medeski, Robert Randolph and the rhythm section of the North Mississippi Allstars, will reunite for a special New Year’s Eve performance at Terminal 5. After catching the Brooklyn-based Afrobeat orchestra’s high-energy performance at the Root’s Picnic last summer, we’re not surprised that the event is sold out. Their funky multi-ethnic sound is sure to put a smile on your face and is a perfect fit for The Knitting Factory’s new Brooklyn location.
SOULIVE
Venue: The Music Hall of Williamsburg

Soulive, Lettuce and Break Science will be performing for two nights at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. The three bands fit together quite nicely – Soulive’s Eric Krasno and Break Science’s Adam Deitch both got their start when they formed Lettuce in 1992.
