Next Wednesday, the Trouble & Bass Crew will return the the Studio at Webster Hall for another one of their signature floor thumping parties. This month’s “No Escape from New York” will feature special guests Sinden (of The Count & Sinden) and Chrissy Murderbot, along with the Trouble & Bass crew.
Hailing from London, Sinden is known for his genre-melting remixes and mash-ups. The unique DJ/producer’s remixes have run the gamut, from Basement Jaxx and Armand van Helden to Mr. Hudson and Mary J Blige; he has also collaborated with Jesse Rose, Solid Grove, and Herve & Trevor Loveys to produce original material. Sinden is a resident DJ at Fabric, the legendary London club that is also responsible for the seminal Fabriclive CD series. In anticipation of his upcoming US tour, Sinden created an exclusive mix for XLR8R Magazine, which you can download HERE.
Chrissy Murderbot is another another incredibly diverse artist – just look at the downloads page on his official website, where he has posted mixes that encompass genres like dubstep, hip hop, disco, techno, drum & bass and jungle. The Chicago-based DJ/producer founded Dead Homies, a record label focused on dubstep and jungle. When he started broadening his musical horizons, he created a second imprint, Sleazetone Records, which allowed him to put out a wider range of music.
Stay tuned for the first official Trouble & Bass Podcast, which will feature exclusive mixes from both Sinden and Chrissy Murderbot.
