Contest: Win Tickets to Trouble & Bass with Sinden and Zombies for Money
Marjana Jaidi / April 27, 2010
After a cancelled flight last February due to the blizzard, Sinden was forced to reschedule his appearance at Trouble & Bass’ No Escape from New York to this Saturday, May 1 at Santos Party House.
Sinden is known for his genre-melting remixes and mash-ups. His remixes range from Mary J Blige and Mr. Hudson to Basement Jaxx and Armand van Helden; he is also a resident DJ at Fabric in London. We got a preview of Sinden last Sunday at Hard in Los Angeles, and watch out NYC – you’re in for a treat. His set was mostly electro, but took a turn for dubstep when he dropped the Joker remix of “Cruel Intentions” by Simian Mobile Disco. After seeing his performance in at the massive Palladium, we’re looking forward to checking him out in the more intimate confines of Santos Party House. Check out his exclusive mix for XLR8R Magazine, which you can download HERE.
Trouble & Bass recording artists Zombies for Money will also be appearing this Saturday. The Portuguese duo, made up of DJ Manaia and Kilpar, will release their first stateside EP on T&B Records. Check out their recent Smashcast HERE.
CLICK HERE to RSVP for reduced $7 admission at the door. All RSVPs will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the show, along with a Trouble & Bass x Mishka tote bag full of T&B swag. Good luck!
