This just in: Plastician will join Drop the Lime, AC Slater, Star Eyes and The Captain at Webster Hall on Friday, September 16 for the Trouble & Bass Fifth Anniversary blow-out.

In September, we’ll be giving away a pair of tickets to the show, BUT we highly recommend that you cop your advance tickets HERE – this will most definitely be a night to remember.

When you hit the five-year mark, you either have to go big or go home. Trouble & Bass has opted to go big – make that massive – for their five-year anniversary party, which will be held on Friday, September 16 at Webster Hall. The night will feature all four members of the Trouble and Bass Crew – Drop the Lime, AC Slater, Star Eyes and The Captain, a live set from Drop the Lime, and a special guest that will be revealed closer to the date of the show.

We’re especially excited for this event, not just because we’re celebrating a milestone anniversary, but also because we haven’t seen the whole T&B crew together on stage since last Halloween. Waaaay too long, if you ask us.

To commemorate the occasion, the T&B crew went out and got a set of matching tattoos — check out the video by Matt Canada after the jump.

On Thursday night, the Trouble & Bass crew hosted guests from abroad for another one of their signature wild nights. Hailing from Lisbon (hence the name of the party) Zombies for Money and J-Wow of Buraka Som Sistema delivered high-energy beats that had the crowd going from start to finish. As always, the Trouble & Bass Crew – Star Eyes, The Captain, and AC Slater (DTL is currently on tour in Europe) – held it down with solid opening and closing sets. Truly an amazing way for T&B to close out the year, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for 2011.

Tomorrow night, the Trouble & Bass crew will take over Santos Party House with a few special guests from Lisbon: J-Wow of Buraka Som Sistema and T&B’s own Zombies for Money. This is one we’ve been looking forward to for a while. Next Thursday, Trouble & Bass is bringing a touch of Portugal to Santos Party House with their Lisbon Take Over featuring J-Wow and Zombies for Money.

J-Wow, the main producer behind Buraka Som Sistema, is best known for bringing his signature Angolan Kuduro hybrid sound to the world. He has stepped out on his own considerably this year with O Dedo, his debut release on Mad Decent, as well as three well-received singles.
