Chromeo is movin’ on up… to Terminal 5, to be exact. Following the success of their third album, Business Casual, and several sold-out shows last summer (including THIS ONE at Bowery Ballroom), Dave 1 and P-Thugg are embarking on an 11-city tour, kicking off next week in Quebec City. This is the duo’s first tour since they released Business Casual last September.
The Risky Business tour will stop at NYC’s Terminal 5 on February 4 and will feature opening sets by MNDR and Fool’s Gold darlings The Suzan. Unfortunately, the show is already sold out, BUT there are plenty of other ways for you to get your Chromeo fix. On January 18, the duo will release Live From Montreal iTunes Session exclusively on – you guessed it – iTunes, and you can catch them on TBS when they perform on Conan on February 21. And best of all, the Duck Sauce remix of “Hot Mess” featuring Elly Jackson (La Roux) is available for free. Listen/download below.

This summer, Chromeo will embark on a 23-stop tour in support of their upcoming album, Business Casual, slated for release on August 17. Mixed by longtime Chromeo collaborator Phillipe Zdar, their third studio album will carry on their trademark funky synth-pop jams with “sentimental-yet-electronic pop music”. The album’s ten tracks include “Night by Night”, which was released through Green Label Sound last fall.
The “Business Casual Tour”, presented by Green Label Sound, will also feature New York’s own Holy Ghost!, fresh off a four-night stint at Terminal 5 with LCD Soundsystem. The tour starts on July 26 in Washington DC and will hit NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on July 29 - tickets go on sale this Wednesday, May 26. Check out Chromeo’s video for “Night by Night” after the jump, then head to the Green Label Sound website for a free download of the song, along with remixes by Skream and Siriusmo.
On Friday, Chromeo packed not one, but two venues in a single night, with a live performance at Irving Plaza followed by a DJ set at Webster Hall.
