For the second year in a row, Goldenvoice brings us All Points West, a music and arts festival featuring this year’s biggest acts, right here in our back yard. Less than 2000 feet from the Statue of Liberty, Liberty State Park offers 300 acres of recreational space and unparalleled views of the New York City Skyline.
This year’s festival features an eclectic line-up of over 65 performers, ranging from Hip Hop, Rock, Electro, and everything in between. Taking a cue from Coachella, there will also be a comedy tent with top-notch acts like Janeane Garofalo, Tim & Eric, and 30 Rock’s Judah Friedlander.
Tool is back, set to headline the second night of the festival on August 1. The last time the elusive band played in New York area was for their 10,000 Days tour in 2006. Tool kicked off their summer tour last weekend at the Mile High Music Festival in Colorado, where they were joined on stage by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, also on the roster for All Points West. Hopefully, we’ll get to see this and other interesting collaborations next week.
Tickets are on sale now – $219 for a three-day pass and $89 for single days – but you can win tickets right here courtesy of Goldenvoice and The HiFi Cartel.
